Excellent article!
My husband's great aunt and her husband were believed to be among the deceased on the Noronic. We have been searching the web for a passenger list or list of the deceased. Do you have any suggestions for locating such information?
Thank you.

My good friend at that time, John Ratz, was as I rememeber was purser on the Noronic and was staying at our home, on Crescent Rd, but further detail that night nothing. Tho John did end up doing well in Ottawa civil service as an arbiter. And still working while he died. As kids we were together constantly adjacent cottages Seabreeze Rd, Lake of Bays. Ironic as another mutual friend from that time and location, John Chisholm, died a few weeks ago, made and raced Donzi's. And NOW I am disabled by attempt on my life with a fire bomb on NEVIS, March 19, last yr 2008.
