Trans-Atlantic History:  Children were provided with everything from carousels to sand boxes.  There were Punch and Judy Shows and children’s hours at the swimming pools.  The younger passengers were watched over by trained nurses.  Costume parties highlighted the trans-Atlantic crossings.  Children dined in private dining rooms.
